The K12 Magical Winter Build Challenge is Now Closed! Public Voting open Feb. 3-17.

This challenge was open to Kindergarten–12th Grade Students currently enrolled in a K12-powered school.

Theme: Magical Winter Build

Where magic meets snow! Build a magical winter-themed world in Minecraft Education. The build should reflect creativity, storytelling, and seasonal wonder—think glowing ice castles, enchanted forests, mythical creatures, or cozy villages with magical surprises!

Entry Period:

All entries were due by 5:00 PM (ET) on February 2, 2026. 

Public Voting:

Voting will begin at 9:00 AM (ET) on February 3, 2026 and will close at 5:00 PM (ET) on February 17, 2026. 

 

PRIZES:

The build in each grade band (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12) with the most votes will win a $25 Amazon E-gift Card!

You must be at least 13 years old to enter

Prizes

Winners will be determined by the total number of votes received through public voting. A winner will be selected in each grade level to receive a $25 Amazon e-gift card, resulting in four (4) winners.

·     Public voting will happen starting 9 AM (ET) on February 3, 2026, through 5 PM (ET) on February 17, 2026. Any individual will be eligible to vote and will be allowed one vote per day during the voting period.
